There's a grove a trees on the beach at Malaekahana, right by the State camping beach. At the edge, where the ocean comes up, the grove is slowly falling into the ocean. I thought this looked like a headless person.
Outstanding! I see the 'headless person' too. Nice October/Halloween theme, heheh. Although it's a little hard for me to imagine Halloween in Hawaii. Like eating a taco at the North Pole.
That is a beautiful photo. Don't you know if that tree could just talk...the stories it could tell. Also love the photos on your masthead and sidebar. Thanks for the visit today...and talking time to comment. Sorry about the "rear-end" views of my Boxer.
I have a dear friend in Pearl City. I made her promise to send me a cool shot every week. Her kids are the luckiest in the bunch to grow up in what I consider God's playground.
When I first met the born and bred loyal Texan, she never wanted to leave the Lone Star State, and I was sure I would live at the beach. Fate is just mean sometimes.
Is it just me or what? The longer I look at the photo, the gnarled branches/roots started forming into shapes.
