Settling in on Sunday

I've been so neglectful of all things blog this last month and then I saw over at Sprite's Keeper that the spin topic this week is "behind the scenes of a blog." Among other prompts, Jen says "How do you keep your blog going when, you know, life gets in the way?"

I thought maybe if I started to write about it, I might figure out how to rev the blog back up.

The ideas chattering away made me think perhaps it was a post that might need to be done in parts.

But I've been grading.

And walking.

Today Daughter and I drove down to the beach I walked to yesterday. It is 3.2 miles.

So instead of Part One, you all get to see how BC makes friends at the beach.

Is that cute or what?

  1. I love how patient BC is with the wee one.

    Adorable!

(Taking a break during Lent, myself. Sundays don't count ;-)

Walking is good. Looking forward to Part One.

  4. Border Collies are so smart and cool. I love that little girl's chubby legs. I tried to break and kept on, I sort of wish I'd taken that time off. There's always tomorrow, I suppose. :)

  17. I'm sure you'll get back in to the swing of things. I'm having a bit of trouble lately myself.

  18. Oh wow! Riley is waaaay too hyper, hahaha. He'd be jumping up trying to lick the little girl's face. BC is a true gentleman. :)

  20. Wow, both the kid and BC were really well behaved there! Now, LG would have thrown his arms around BC's neck and forgotten all about the ball.

I think February should have been called "Blog Funk" month. We were all a little off our game.

  26. I find that walking HELPS with the writing. I walk for miles and miles and then I come home and bang...thirty minutes and I have three blogs written!

  27. Your puppy was awfully patient, waiting for the little girl to figure out how to "throw" the ball. Still waiting for a behind-the-scenes look at your blog, though...real life has been getting in the way of my online life, too!
