Best time ever.
I've got a lot of packing and sorting and cleaning and painting to do before the move next Wednesday. So, as much as I'd like to regal you all with lovely details of how great it was for our family to go to a baseball game, I'm just going to leave you with this tip.
If you are ever in Boston, head out to Fenway Park.

Looks like great fun. Never been to Fenway, but I did go to a couple World Series games in LA (Dodgers vs. Oakland) where I witnessed Kurt Gibson hit a home run, limp around the bases, and give the Dodgers their big win. That is one of my favorite memories and experiences. Nothing like a day at the ball field.
Looks great. I have never been to any game but it looks amazing.
Sounds like you are getting everything done you need to do for the move. Almost here. And then you get to unpack.
I was at a soccer game last night, 37000 fans, amazing atmosphere. One day I'd like to experience Fenway Park!
Damn. That makes me a little weepy for summer...
Ack.
have not been to fenway, yet. the boys love baseball though, so perhaps someday.
I've never been there but it does look like a blast. And that Hangin' and bangin shirt is awesome. Ha.
Best Father's day ever I'm sure.
I have never been there. For sure I would want to see the ball park.. Happy Thursday..
Went to Boston with my parents once, but we were visiting Harvard & MIT. Baseball wasn't really in their minds. :(
I did love Boston, though, so hopefully I can go back and visit the Green Monster!
I have a bit of nostalgia over Wrigley Field in Chicago. You really seem to have fond memories of trips to the mainland. :)
Good luck on your move!
Someday I hope to get to ALL the MLB ballparks. What a fun time.
You know, I love going to baseball games - we used to go out to the Ball Park and watch the Rangers a couple of times every summer - and for the five years I've been here in Ohio I haven't been to The Jake - oh, I'm sorry, Progressive Field - once.
I dunno...maybe because going to Progressive Field doesn't sound like as much fun as The Jake?
Wow, do I envy you. I've been wanting to go to Fenway since forever and can't get tickets without trading in my first born child.
I love BAW-ston. (Sorry, I have family there and I tease them all the time.)
My favorite memory from Boston is going to the children's musuem with my cousins and playing in the life size coffee cups and staplers.
And when you DO come back, you better visit me.
Aw, I can't believe you were so close and I didn't know you! I'm a Yankees fan, but I've been to Fenway and it's a great place, a whole experience!
Good Luck with the packing...
Briefcase worked for a boston based company for 10 years. He had to fly back there nearly every week ... and I never once was allowed to go with him. I have still not seen Boston to this day.
Girl. . . I have to be WAAAAYYYYY bored to go to a baseball field. . .
It has to be with a really fun group of people I enjoy hanging out with. . . however, it sounds like you must have had a fun time. . . .
Boston is a great town-- crazy traffic, but a great town.
I've never been to Fenway Park but I think it would be a blast.
Thanks for sharing your trip.
xo
Also never been to Fenway but love that you posted about it and your memories from there.
P.S. I see you're also being haunted by anonymous. I blocked him/her on my blog.
I love your travel tips posts. They are really neat, especially the archives ones. Very cool!
Moving is so hard... Much better to remember Fenway. I grew up a Red Sox fan and Fenway Park was the end of year treat for sixth graders at my school. I couldn't believe they were planning to bulldoze it. But I think they decided to save it in the end.
A good park for homeruns...
Good luck on the move!
Oh yeah..Fenway(and Boston) is a GREAT place and I am happy to know you were able to experience a game there.
You certainly have traveled, Pseudo!
What a great day! I don't enjoy baseball on tv but I love to be at the game!
