Hiatus

We moved.

Only to another part of the island.

But packing up a house that we had been in for 17 years....

A round of stomach flu days before the move (which I did not get, but instead got to pack while everyone else was puking).

Bittersweet meets pure exhaustion meets a sense of something new in the air.

So much blog fodder, not any time...

The Internet just got reinstalled. I will be around to visit in a few days. There's a garage full of boxes and a mother load of shit to do.

It will be worth the wait to read some of your adventures during the move. Best wishes in your new home.

Again, I wish I could help you. I'm weird and I actually like unpacking.

Take your time. We'll still be right here.

Aw, there's so much to do; don't worry about us.

Like Maureen said - with so much to do, don't worry about us. We'll be here when you get back.

I am so glad you didn't get the stomach flu.

Take your time Sweetie. We'll be here!

It must be a relief to at least be moved, even if you're not unpacked. Take your time getting settled.

Not a fun activity! But, it is the necessary stuff of life. Don't over do it!

Good luck shoveling that shit here and there. May it all come together smoothly for you.

Just reading this made my bones ache with a sense memory of the weariness that only comes from packing, hauling, sweating--and the emotionalizing--of a move.

I hope it's great when it's done.

Just don't forget to take a breather once in awhile. I know it can be overwelming. Pace yourself.

So glad you didn't catch the bug.

I hate to move. Try to take it easy. We'll all be here when you get the time.

May the force be with you!

Sounds like work. :(

Mother loads of shit to do is a perfectly justifiable reason for your bloggy absence. You are missed.

See, now, it's WARM there, so you can get out and do shit. It's COLD here, so I can't do ANYTHING but watch Olympics and be all patriotic. Right?

See you when you get back. Enjoy the new digs!

Glad you got all moved. Can't wait to hear more.. Be here when you get back..

Move accomplished, now for the "fun" part, eh? Can't wait to read whatever you care to share--and so glad you didn't succumb to the flu!

Moving is never fun, in the best of circumstances. Maybe one day, you'll look back on this move and laugh.
I want to wish you all the best in your new home.

I do not envy your move (or the flu your family got), but I do wish you a happy housewarming!

I would so help if I were there! Good luck, hope the migraine doesn't come back and everyone else doesn't go back to the vomitorium.

Unpack it as you need it...and, if you find you haven't unpacked it in a few months, donate it. It's a proven way to cull.

Take your time. We'll be here waiting for the tales......

Hey Pseudo, I've been missing in action for a while and just catching up.

Glad you got moved and hope the unpacking is going smoothly.

And mostly, I hope you get a nice long nap along the way.

I hope you love your new home.

Oh, glad you survived! Moving is so stressful, even without puking.

Moving is so stressful. May you be safely unpacking and may your immodium and your imatrex be on separate shelves!
