Friday Foto: Beach Wedding

A wedding on the beach. These are the only photos I have without the wedding couple in them and since it is not my wedding...

For all my years of living here (27), this is one of the only weddings I have been to that was straight up on the beach. Most beach weddings the couple rents a beach house, but this one was set up on a windswept, beautiful beach where there are no houses. It was simple, barefooted, and lovely.

Happy Valentine's Weekend.

I had a beach wedding ..... And I saw one recently when I was in Santa Barbara. They're the best!

I love your photos. The rose petal path is simply gorgeous! And it looks like the weather was great, too.

Wow, that is gorgeous. I would have loved to have had a true beach wedding. Simple and elegant! Great pictures.

Ha I imagine that a strong south-westerly breeze could cause havoc with a wedding dress...knicker exposure for example, and it must be very difficult to walk on sand in heels...

That is beautiful. I've seen a few when I've been on vacation. Nothing this nice!

I'm an ocean freak. Stress, depression, confusion, numbness, everything goes away when I sit by the ocean for a few minutes. I would love a wedding like this if I ever decide on "forever" instead of "always" but I would have to move for it because Miami's rampant weather is not very safe for beach weddings. You can plan a wedding in the middle of the summer, send out invitations, plan everything and end up with a thunderstorm on wedding day.

I don't think any amount of ocean sitting will help with THAT type of stress.
These pictures are pretty though. Very very pretty. Imagine not having to go wedding day shoe shopping.... hmmm....

That looks just lovely!

We thought about having our wedding on a beach, but then decided we liked the whole lemon tree thing. LOL

Cool shot. I'm a sucker for weddings. I was a busy wedding photographer for over 20 years. Still can't get enough of them.

My daughter is going to get married in Hawaii one of these days. Anyone in the family who wants to go is welcome to her elopement. I just hope I can afford to go when the time comes.

How beautiful! When we were in Florida for my daughters wedding, we watched a wedding on the beach and it was simple, but beautiful. Oh this makes me want to be sitting sitting on the sand by the ocean instead of looking a this damn cold white crap!

Have a great weekend!

I love the whole beach wedding idea...couldn't you just see it, thistle, mr rightnow...and a lifeguard trying to keep all the dergs from being washed out to sea and eaten by sharks...Capital 'R' romantic LOL...

Great shots, have a great weekend!

The wedding looks like it was gorgeous and simple. I wanted to do something like that but we got married in July and it was WAY too hot in FL. Great shots!

I've never been to or seen a real beach wedding. I think that's wonderful.
