Murphy Loves Me...

Five days to go before the movers get here. First my daughter, then my husband, last night Teen Boy... Yep. They all came down with a horrid 24 hour flu bug. Stomach flu.

I've been avoiding them and taking my vitamins - someone has to keep the ball rolling.

Usually mom's ignore the signs of illness, especially if we get distracted, busy with other things. Take care of yourself!

definitely steer clear of them. take care of yourself

Oh no! Stay clear of the family. Mamas can't be sick when there is work to be done.

Make sure they show you proof of temperatures. Hurling or not, anything below fever can still pack a box! Good luck with the move!

oh geez! yeah, definitely vitamin-up (i don't care that a lot of it passes through you, i FIRMLY believe it helps) and try to get rest.

LOL to sprite's keeper, though. oh man, you're a tough one, hahahahaha!

Oh that is a nasty bug! Stay clear of the bug!

Geez, you surely have your hands full. I don't know what to say because it seems vitamins work for some, and rest is impossible in this situation. Maybe try self-hynosis and your body will listen---Iwillnotgetsick--Iwillnotgetsick--Iwillnotgetsick

When it rains, it pours..
Sorry to hear about the flu hitting your family, and before a move, too(which can wipe you out, anyway--I hate moving, myself)! Stay strong and healthy, if you can.

Oh, I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't hit you.

As for Murphy, he's got one helluva long reach. Today was supposed to be our moving day - moving all of our office furniture from the old office to the new office. We have a U-Haul reserved. We've got four strapping college football players to do the heavy stuff reserved. We have a dumpster reserved.

We also have about 15 inches of snow on the ground, with another 3 - 6 inches predicted before it stops.

Of course you're not going to get it- until after the move honey! You're the Mom.... we can't collapse until after the big events. Best to you!

That Murphy, he's dependable if nothing else.

Sanitize and try not to breathe. Much. Good luck with avoiding the Bug!

Iit's always something, isn't it.

Hope they're on the mend.

You sound like you are so focused. No bug would be allowed close to you at this time anyway, you are way too busy.

Why does it happen like this??? I'm sorry!

Oh, no...fingers crossed here!

That should make it easier to abandon the old place!

Be careful! Take every precaution!

This so sounds like something that would happen in my life. The last time we moved, my husband ended up with kidney stones at 5 in the morning, when the movers were showing up at 7! AND I had a 14 month old!

ARGH! It's always something, isn't it? Here's hoping that you stay well, that your family recovers quickly, and the move is smooth. Hang in there!

Never mind the vitamins, wash your hands! (and then wash them again)

And try not to breathe.
