ALL fireworks are legal? Wow! We only have the wimpy stuff legalized here but it's easy to just drive over the border to any neighboring state and get the real deal, if you want to.
Not ALL fireworks are legal. The ones that shoot out of a mini canon are display up in the sky are illegal, except the designated show places. But.... every neighborhood someone has gotten them somehow.
Oahu lights up New Year's Eve and the 4th like you would not believe.
Happy 4th! We're holding down the fort at home tonight and hoping the kids sleep through the fireworks but I can't wait until they're old enough to enjoy the show!
Somehow I imagine your fireworks over the beautiful blue waters were more fantastic than ours over the high school football field. I wish I could have been there to see it!
Plus all the beaches and BBQ's...

The 4th of July at Hawaii would be fabulous!!! I will definitely try this sometime. It's now on my bucket list.

Fireworks are legal here too! I think they call them bombs though.

In Virginia fireworks are legal: buy one package of dangerous exploding materials and get a second free!
I'm enjoying the day listening to Aaron Copeland. It would be nice to hear some waves in the background; I'll use your pictures to imagine that.
