A mixed plate adventure...
What a great way to spend New Year's Day - love the shot of Border Collie! Hope the rest of your year is as kick-ass as the day in the pictures!
*sigh* That was how I spent LAST New Year's Eve. This year we shivered on the sofa and wondered if poor Dick Clark has had a stroke.Have a great new year, you lucky lady!
Beautiful. Happy New Year again. :D
Lovely. Warm. Sigh.
That does look like a great time. The Palm tree pic is my favorite, nice angle!
Thanks everyone. The palm tree pic was when I was lying down. It was cool for here yesterday..... about mid-70's.
great photos! love the doggie :)
Great. Thanks to you I am starting my New Year with envy!
I could do a post on the high cost of living over here, followed by the crime rate. That will get you envy meter lowered ; - )
those are so great! Ahhh. looks like a wonderful way to start the new year.
p.s. you have a great eye with the camera.
beauteous pictures, thank you for sharing the warmth! :)
These are beautiful pics...that beastie looks like he's enjoying the sand a little. Poor you, low 70's...did you have to get the long john's out LOL...i nearly slid thru an intersection because the icy road was like glass here today. Although we did have a lovely deep turquoise sky tonight. The reward for being clear and cold.Keep the beach pics coming...it keeps the rest of us going :)
That is one happy dog!! Love your photos. They make me count down the days till I'll be back over in your neck of the woods .......
Great pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Great pictures, but colour me green with envy as I look out my window and compare your pics to my Grey skies, white snow, and sheer ice.David
I will try and post the tropical weather at least weekly for those of you having issues with ice.
I LOVE that picture of your dog! He's gorgeous!
Oh Pseudo! That is where I want to be RIGHT NOW! Thanks for sharing these great photos.
I love the pictures! Thanks for sharing! And Jan... yes, Dick Clark had a stroke several years ago.
Mama - BC says thank-you and that he would like to play with your puppy someday.SMB - going to come visit your brother anytime soon? I can take you to this beach...Joanie - thank-you for answering questions that I don't know the answer to.
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I really do miss teaching and one day hope to go back to it. So, while playing the part of an administrator, I always back my teachers.I read your earlierest posts about not a school not punishing a SPED teacher and I think that is just wrong. While it may not be fun, I am willing to go to court to keep all my students and teachers safe and keep education as the primary goal. And for the record, I used to be a SPED teacher. I am BIG on consequences because as you pointed out, life won't give a shit about your "disability" once you are 18.Again, thanks. You made my day!
Mmmmm.....I'm followin' you on that path :)
Beth - I have found that the SPED students who push the system are the result of parents pushing the system. Usually to support their enabling and dysfunction. Braja - One of my favorite paths...
Ohhhh, that puppy... SO jealous! My grandfather was a dairy farmer, so they always had at least one border collie. Such beautiful dogs!
Beautiful! I love BC's expression in that shot, hehehe. And re:Jan-Yes, Dick Clark had a stroke a couple years ago... :(
omg. that does it- I am So coming over. your comment cracked me the hell up on my post.
Huh, I'll have to go back and read the sped story in the archives. I love to see all the angles, since I'm walking the line as the sped teacher and the sped parent. :-)
Happy New Year PHST! Hope you have a great year just like your photographs here :)
Man, your dog is just adorable. And love those photos! I want to go back to Hawaii!Have a smooth night...XOAnna
Thank-you Anna and Hillgrandma!Hey Movie - those archives are way back in January. Then I didn't blog for another 2 months...
I'm right behind you and BC!! I hope the rest of your year is as peaceful as these pictures.
Pseudo - Thanks for your comments. I'm just a baby at this blogging time and I might need some help knowing when to change my diaper. I tried to fix the email part... Definately think we should swap stories sometime. I am really hoping that this new Prez will make some major changes with NCLB. Something has to change... unless ALL schools become failing schools. We are right on track for that!
Ahhhhh! Thanks for the photos... beautiful, just simply wonderful!
great pictures! Happy New Year!
So incredibly gorgeous. We have some similar Christmas and NYE pictures. Totally makes the worms worth while. Mostly. Um, maybe it's the kids I need to get rid of, not the tropics?
