Dear Readers,
I would like to thank so many of you for your advice in dealing with my mom and her current situation. Some of you have even been helping with emails and the wealth of information out here is amazing.
The kind thoughts and prayers have been helping more than you know. Even if my Mom's situation is still a crisis one, I am more centered and less anxious about it all.
A couple of you mentioned that you either are in a similar situation or fear you may be one day in the not so distant future. I will write some posts when I can to help pass on what I have learned.
At this point, we have done what we can and gotten the system to help, or should I say back us up.
Again. Much thanks and gratitude.
Mahalo,
Pseudo

I leave for a week and you've changed you blog. It looks terrific!
About your mom; I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better about the situation. We went through the same thing 15 years ago and most of our friends are going through it now. It's hard to parent a parent.
glad you are in a good place with all of it...love the changes are here!
wow. I'm sorry that I had no idea about this incredibly stressful and sad situation. I am sending good vibes - and I'm sorry I have no advice. The ONLY good thing about losing parents young is that I do not have to fret about these particular things.
xxxxxxx
I'm really glad you're getting the help she needs!
You've got to love the blogging community for the wealth of information and support it can offer. Hope you're getting some answers and sharing them. :)
And the new decor? Wow! Very different. I like it!
Ooo, transformation. That's always refreshing, for both the transformee and the transform...watchers. ;P
Still sending good vibes for your mom situation...
Glad you have people backing you up. That must be a little bit of relief.
Hang in there. xo
I am glad that you are at a 'breathing' point with your Mom.
Love the new look of your blog.
Good to hear that it's becoming less stressful. We're still praying for you and your Mom. Hopefully it will all works itself out soon.
I'm glad things are slowly settling down for you guys and that you are receiving the help needed.
Hey Pseudo.... It's a long road and I'm glad you're getting some help. Sending prayers and hugs.

PS love the new look!
So glad to hear it. xo
I am glad that things seem to be stable for now and you are getting some back up. Even when the system is (miraculously!) behind you, I know the real burden will always fall heaviest on you. No system can relieve you of that. We will all be thinking of you.
Hang in there, Pseudo. I can't tell you that things will get better, but you'll feel better about yourself and your situation, I promise. And I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in mind as far as transformation is concerned...
Backup is good; backup is a start. Backup means you can breathe (maybe, a little bit?). Hang in there!
Continued good thoughts coming your way. We care.
Your site is looking very good, by the way.
I know I'm late to the game--been off the blog planet for a bit--but I like the new site.
Glad to hear that the mom situation is in a slightly more manageable realm. Mine just took a turn that I haven't had time to process yet...
Love the blogging advice from Nanny pants.
Glad to hear that things are starting to look a little better.
I just backtracked and read the other post. That's such hard stuff to deal with. The fact that you're willing to share your experiences and possibly help other people is a good thing. These issues are going to become more common as the population ages, I'm afraid.
Keeping a good thought for you and your family - for whatever it's worth.
I know my commenting has been completely in the crapper, but you've been on my mind, a lot.
Back up is good. Very good.
Prayers - A
