Hey, sorry I emailed you thinking you weren't doing WW this week!
Great shots, I like the first one - nice colors, and I can't believe there is any place left in the world with a public phone! The sign in the last shot is very clever too...
Cute place...didn't i see that on and episode of Dog a few years ago? ;)
i have a favourite place in a little town where i used to work a few hours at the MH centre each week...occassionally had live music, in addition to internet access...and great food and coffee...the owner was always there
I love little coffee places like this. We have one in our small town called "Jitters" and it's very warm and cozy inside. The owners are this married couple in their mid-40's and they are so friendly. They have signs up with really neat sayings on them and I keep saying I'm going to write them down or remember them but I never do. I don't get there very often but it's one of my favorite places to go.
It IS a great place to hang out. Where the tables are, between the beams in the ceiling, are all artists' paintings.
Moive - I like the sig at your plae too.
thistle - Dog? You guys watch Dog up there? So in teh eisode was he going after some person who called his PO a day late? Sorry, I'd use line out to show I'm being silly, but I don't know how yet. Dog???
A adore coffee shops! And I really like that sign. I used to own a toy store, and I should have had a sign like that. You'd be amazed (or maybe not) at how many people would drop their kids at the shop and go grocery shopping...and then do a honk and drive-by to pick their kids back up. Like i was some sort of community baby sitter.
I have never seen that sign or heard that! This was too great, as I am a fan of coffee houses, and of good humor. For this I offer a big Ol' Fourbuck joke: "Two hydrogen atoms walk into a Starbucks. One says, 'I think I've lost an electron.' The other says 'Are you sure?' The first says, 'Yes, I'm positive.'
I think my kid may have wandered into that coffee shop. He's been walking around here lately like he's wired from espresso. No dog though, just the two we already have. Great pics!

My favorite coffee place was from back when I lived in New Haven CT... it was called "Koffee?"
I used to walk my wife to class then go to the coffee shop, get a cup of coffee and sit and read the newspaper... very relaxing.
Ah yes Liam, good coffee houses are good places for relaxing. I love the one of a kind, where the owner might be there joints.
I love that sign. I've seen that in other places and always find it hilarious.
Nice! We saw this (hilarious) sign in a coffee shop in West Seattle, which also featured a HUGE play area for the kids. Very relaxing.
FOURTH! Really? Cooool...
And I thought they made up that sign ; -)
Looks like a great place to hang. I love the sign.
I love that sign!!!
Cool looking place. The sign in our local place says "Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks". :-)
That looks like a great place and I love the sign.
Great sign!! Haha. Although a kid probably doesn't need expresso... Oh wait, I think I just got it!
Love the last snap. I'd like to leave one of my kids there just to see what happens...

So that's what's wrong with PR today ... somebody slipped him an espresso!

tricia - I can picture that happening, unfortunatley. You should have held the kids and made the parents come in and pay a fee ; -)

hahaha I love that note at the end. PERFECT.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm super jealous of you living in the islands, but I will too someday - I've already picked out my house, haha!
Love the last picture! Priceless!
Love the sign. Wish I had some of the coffee!
