This is the first one.

First glimpse on the ocean side.
Ocean side of Diamond Head.
A great place to sit on the wall and eat lunch. But I'm walking so we need to keep going.
Diamond Head Beach. Sometimes we walk down the path to the beach and throw a stick for the border collie.
View towards Black Point. Very expensive homes.

Every time you post photos of Hawaii, it makes me want to visit that beautiful state more and more!
Gorgeous pictures!! I never made it to Diamondhead last summer; I'll have to make it a priority next time I visit!
Why is it when I see these pictures of where you live I have to fight off the green eyed monster! I AM SO JEALOUS!!!
Oh, your part of the world looks amazing. Maybe I should put a visit on my to-do list.
Thank you for sharing, Pseudo.

I found your blog over at SITSA's website. I've seen Diamond Head and hiked up it with my mom and aunt many years ago it seems. Your pictures really make want to go back. Ah, the fond memories!
Wow I wish I could do that walk. What a pretty place to go. I loved your dog. What a cute little dog.
The banyan tree looks so cool! That's one of those things I've only read about, but never seen...sad, isn't it?
What a wonderful day is over there!
Those hanging branches from the banyan tree can be used as swings, kind of like Tarzan. When my kids were young and we met friends at teh park for picnics, the kids would all swing on the hanging branches.
Off to work everyone. Hope you enjoy the walk.
Thay banyan (have I got it right?) Tree is incredible.
I look foward to these every Friday. Thank you again for sharing your wold with us... simply beautiful!
Hope you have a great weekend :)
That tree is soooo awesome!
I think Banyan trees are the coolest thing ever. If they didn't take a million years to grow and if they were deciduous to FL, I'd plant one here. They have them at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota (gifts from Thomas Edison to the Ringling family) and we always stop to take pictures of them.
LOVE these snaps! You are so very fortunate to live in such a paradise!! Hey, have you recovered from your SITS day yet?
Beautiful photos! You are so lucky to have the ability to walk amongst such gorgeous examples of nature!
Gorgeous! I love that tree and imagine how cool it would be to walk underneath it. Lucky lucky you!
Gorgeous photos. I LOVE that banyan tree...
I'd be alot more motivated to walk if my scenery was that beautiful.
I can't quite figure that SITS thing out. 153 commenters who rarely if ever come back. It's like some weird kinda cult....
What does BC stand for?
Banyan trees are quite common here; didn't realize they grew over there....
Beautiful pictures. Love the ones of the trees.
Enjoyed my walk through your special peice of heaven! Happy weekend to you!
Gorgeous pictures! My sister and her fam headed to Hawaii for the first time today. I felt too overextended and cheap to join them. My kids have been bummed all day about the missed opportunity. "You regret saying NO to Hawaii, don't you Mom?" Heck, yes!Maybe someday.
I loved your post about the road/s not taken.
beautiful scenery. nice blog.
I love your walks.
And that Banyon Tree is AWESOME.
I want to go on a walk with you. Here it is cloudy, raining and fog. BUT... it's 47 and not snowing!! LOL
Hi,
I am with Pam. I am turning green. This looks like such a nice place to live.
Thanks for signing up for my photo give away. I am so excited for the drawing. I hope you win.
The banyan tree is incredible! What a beautiful walk. Thanks for taking us along. One of these days I want to do it in person.
Just checking in...and reminding you about Sx3 today. Can you say Global Warming?
Love your pictures and the video. While I don't see Hawaii in my immediate future, I just reminded my husband about his promise to take me to the beach soon. I am missing the ocean.
What a gorgeous walk!
That looks like a long walk but one so beautiful that your legs don't get tired. Thanks for sharing. I especially loved inside the banyan tree and the market.
Those are great pictures!! I would walk everyday if I had views like those:-)
Great pictures. Thanks for letting us tag along on your walk.
I LOVE the banyan tree pic. How cool!
