My dog LOVES the water and our little beach here at the lake. But she will NOT fetch or carry anything. If I hand her the mail to carry to the house she grabs it runs under the bed and proceeds to shred it! God, I love that dog:)

Awe how sweet...happy days at the beach :-) {hugs}

BC looks SO content!

Scooter loathes the water. We practically have to throw him out the door to do his doggy business when it's raining. However, he loves to fetch things...then run circles around you while you make wild, snatching motions trying to get it back.

Ah, I love the little bugger.

LOL. "HAHA, that dog is running to fetch something. ... Hey wait a minute, now he has a toy!"

BC had such a great day that day. He got to play with two different Golden Retrievers. Long walk down the beach, first with me, then with hubs, plus I took him for several swims. He is unaware he is not a traditional water dog.

I really miss living near the beach. Sigh.
That is all.
PS This is also the second time today I've wanted another dog. They're gorgeous! Thanks a lot.;)

I'm no expert but I reckon that dog is a happy chappy.

What a beauty! I assume this is the pooch you spent July 4th with; I can definitely see the allure.

What a beautiful dog! And funny. Let someone else do all the work. I'll sit here, you fetch the toy -- hey, where are you going?

I'd like to trade places with BC right now. (Oh, unless he has a worming coming up, in which case I can wait.)

My golden has swimmers ear right now and we're supposed to keep him out of the water. That worked for 2 days. I came home today and he was soaking wet and grinning at me as only a dog can do.

It is almost time for me to come to Hawaii!! I can't wait!

I told you that your beach was nicer!

I really, really want to hang out in the sand with Border Collie.

You take the BEST pictures!

Cute! My grandparents had a dog just like that one when I was little. His name was Pal and I nearly remember him almost more than I remember my grandmother! :( Sad, but true.
I love your dog.

It's a dog's life, right? Hope there's a gentle sea breeze for that collie. That's a lot of fur for a beach dog!

This was the nicest of posts.

Our Border Collie died 4 years ago and we still miss him desperately. Our Goldendoddle love to fetch.

I love that your dog gets to run free on the beach! We have dog beaches here but everyone keeps their dogs leashed. It's probably for the best since mine would take off if I let them free.

So sweet.

I Always Love Seeing the dog! Especially running free on the beach. Thanks!

The beach is a relaxing place for everyone. That was cute. I think it's funny to see all those paw prints in the sand.

Ok - I need to leave town RIGHT NOW and find a beach. There's nothing like seeing a happy dog on a beach, especially when you're somewhere you can take the leash off! So jealous...
