Don't forget to enter the Hawaii Goodie Box Contest.
Last month a friend came to visit. First night we stopped in Chinatown for martinis (hi Vodka) at Indigo's and then went to Little Village for Chinese food. Why do we always live better when we have visitors?
For more Friday Fotos, head on over to Candid Carrie's.

Oh, my those look yummy.
I would like one of those right now. It's 5 o'clock somewhere isn't it?
I am ready to help you live better by visiting!
I can't believe you drank three cocktails at once.
Oooh, that looks lovely.
Hey, it's 5 pm in eastern NC and I've been mowing this huge lawn all day, I NEED and DESERVE one of those (or maybe three!!!)
Have a great weekend.
They do look yummy. I want one.
Now I'm craving a martini :)
Now those look inviting after this past week. So glad it's friday. Have a great weekend!
Mmm, those look good right about now. I'm having a BBQ dinner tonight to prep myself for tomorrow's 10 course festival of gluttony.
Mmmm... martinis.
One of the best things about having out-of-town guests (besides the visitng) is "rediscovering" all the nice places that make our hometowns so great.
I don't really like Martinis, but those three look very yummy.. :-)
That's so true. We live so much better when we have company. Why is that? I'm going to start drinking vodka regularly. I owe it all to you and Vodka Mom.
Those are pretty. I love any occasion that gives me an excuse to eat out, my checking account...not so much.
You're right, visitors are the perfect excuse for 'better living.' I want visitors!
We had company last night and went drove to an AMAZING Thai restaurant (an hour away). We've been wanting to go and the visitors gave us a great excuse.
You have a gift for seeing truths that others don't notice. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.
mmmmmmmmmm looks like perfection in a glass. I took a picture of a key lime pie martini. I may have to post it somewhere and drool over it for a bit. lol
Those look scrumptious!!!!
I'm coming over.....
I get so messed up when I drink a martini, but I guess that's the point.
I definitely think martinis are in order.
Cheers!
PS. My mother, Lucy, would get very drunk on two beers but could sober up drinking martinis. Weird.
We always do so much more when we have visitors. See more of the town. lol I hear ya! And what's this about a Hawaii goodie box? I need to check this out...
